Discovery Centre is combining with Polyfest Homework Groups this term. Everyeone is welcome. Discovery / Homework will be held in Barat Cafe from 3.30 - 5 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Hope to see you there,

All year 9/10 girls that would like to play Junior Water Polo need to come and sign up with Mrs Truman in the Sport Department. Training starts Monday the 13th February.

All girls who have signed up and still wish to sign up for Kapa Haka please come to Okea (Maori classroom) at the beginning of interval for a short meeting. There are still spaces and you are more than welcome to join. No experience necessary.

The Library is open for reading and circulation. The library is open before and after school inlcuding morning tea and lunch. You can use your old ID/library cards to issue books for the next two weeks. Student Libarians : All student librarians from last year must attend a meeting at morning tea tomorrow. There will be an anouncement for new student librarians next week.

MUSIC LESSON PASSES: students leaving and returning to class must show a lesson pass to their classroom teacher: These are available at the Performing Arts Office.

All Students interested in playing any of the Brass instruments (i.e. Cornet, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone or Tuba) should come to Room J12 straight after Roll call on Wednesday morning to meet Mr Morton, the Brass teacher, and organise groups and times for this year's lessons. This includes all students who learnt last year as well as any new pupils or prospective pupils.

If you would like to trial for the Open A Basketball team please sign up with Mrs law in the gym. The trials are to be held on Monday 13th February and 16th February at 7.00am in the gym.

The last day for photo orders is Wednesday 15th February. Please return these as soon as possible to the front office.

All tennis teams will be on the notice board on Wednesday. Training is provided for all teams at 7.00am every Friday for the term, starting this Friday the 10th February on the courts. All registration forms need to be handed in and any queries please see Mrs Law this week.

Touch trials are Friday 3rd of February from 3:30-5:30pm and Tuesday the 7th of February from 3:30-5:30pm. Registrations avaliable for collection from Mrs. Truman in the sport department. Please be on time and have your registration form ready.

Year 9/10 girls who wish to play turbo touch, come sign up in the sport department. Trainings held on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 3.30 – 4.30 followed by a one day inter-school tournament. You must be available for all trainings in order to make the team.

Years 7 - 13 CHOIRS Mrs Wood and Mrs Sydenham invite all those girls who would like to be part of the Junior or Schola choirs to a meeting on WEDNESDAY 8th February at morning tea time. We would like to tell you about the choirs, and work out rehearsal times etc. Come along and find out what we will be singing, and what is required. We hope to see all singers there – A7 morning tea on Wednesday!
