Science Trip to Finland for Kathryn Carr

Kathryn Carr in Year 13 was one of two New Zealanders selected to go to Finland to take part in the Millennium Youth Camp in June.
Almost 1000 teenagers from 62 countries applied for the international science camp, but only 30 were selected to go.
Applicants had to show an interest in the natural sciences, mathematics and technology, then produce a project plan associated with the theme given to them.
