Social Studies students focus on looking at society and human activity in the contexts of change, continuity, and contemporary issues.
Social Studies students develop a knowledge and understanding of the diverse and dynamic nature of society and how interactions occur among cultures, societies, and environments.
Social Studies students develop and apply skills as they investigate society, explore issues, make decisions and work co-operatively.
Social Studies leads to the study of Classical Studies, Economics, Geography and History in Year 11-13 and career opportunities in the field of Anthropology, Archaeology, Art History, Journalism and Media, Law, Political Studies, Sociology and Teaching to name a few.
