Economics studies how people get the goods and services they need and want. It also focuses on money - how it is made, lost, used and misused.

When our economy does well, NZ as a nation and people do well. When our economy is in crisis, the nation suffers and we as people don't always get the goods and services we need. So it is important that all citizens be informed about the economy.




Economics is offered at NCEA Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Scholarship.
