Atrium
There are three sandblasted wndows in the Atrium which were designed by Annett Hanrahan RSCJ. The smaller windows depict Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat RSCJ and Saint Phillippine Duchesne RSCJ. The large window portrays the relationships between the school and the community, knowledge and the sources of knowledge, the Maori importance with the 'Stairway to Heaven' bordering each side of the window.
The Atrium provides ample foyer space for the Auditorim and can be used alternatively as an entertainment and function space. The Atrium has a lightly equipped kitchen with servery.
Should you wish to use the kitchen space or to serve alcohol this will need to be discussed with the Auditorium Co-ordinator prior to application. It should be noted that application will also need to be made to the Auckland City Council for a temporary licence to serve alcohol within the Baradene School grounds. Hirers will not be permitted to bring alcohol onto the premises without providing a copy of this licence.
