College Examinations
There are four lots of examinations throughout the year at the College:
Term Two: Senior Examinations/Workshops for Year 11-13
Term Three: Senior Examiantions/Workshops for Year 11-13
Term Four: Junior Examinations/Workshops for Year 9-10
Term Four: NCEA Examinations for Year 11-13
Year 9-10 Junior Examinations
Please find the examination timetable for Year 9-10 and the relevant instructions about the examinations to the right of this information. Examinations run from Friday, 4th till Wednesday, 9th November.
The examination daily format is the following:
Line up outside the auditorium/classroom 8:30 am
Exam Session 1 8:45 am - 10:45 am
Line up outside the auditorium/classroom
PAT Session 11.10 am – 12.10pm
Line up outside auditorium/classroom 1.00 pm
Exam Session 2 1:10 pm – 3.10 pm
If your daughter is sick on the day of the examination you must ring the Dean to let them know. If your daughter does not turn up to the examination your daughter’s Dean will ring you to let them know you have not arrived at the examination.

Please go through the timetable with your daughter. She is expected to be at each one of her examinations and to stay for the full time allocated. A part of these up and coming holidays should be used for revision of the years’ work. If your daughter has any concerns or queries about a section or work, then we would advise her to see her teachers before the holidays. Each of the Faculties will be giving out information this week about the structure of their examination and what is required.
Year 11-13 Senior Examinations
Please find the examination timetable for Year 11-13 and the relevant instructions about the examinations to the right of this information.
Examinations run from Tuesday, 13th till Thursday, 15th September, then from Monday, 19th till Wednesday 21st September. Please note that the College is closed on Friday, 16th September for all students. This day has been provided for the girls to study for the next section of examinations.

Exam Session 2 1:00 pm – 4.00 pm

Please go through the timetable with your parents/caregivers. You are expected to be at each one of her examinations and to stay for the full time allocated. These grades can be used for derived grades if you are not able to attend the NCEA examinations because of illness or bereavement. The examinations are also a good indicator of where you are at in regards to her external achievement standards. The grades you receive will be a very good guide on what you will need to focus on from now until the NCEA examinations in November.
