PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY: SCHOOL PRODUCTION 2011
The school show this year will be Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ which will play in the second week of term 3 (8th-13th August) in the Baradene auditorium. The production director is Ms Davidson (HOF Performing Arts) and the assistant director is Ms Donald (acting assistant HOF Performing Arts). The Performing Arts department at Baradene is very excited to announce that the entire Y78 student body will be involved in the show. We plan to split the students into class groups and each group will perform in one of the five shows. We will work on this in our dance and drama classes during term 2 and there will probably be some after school and weekend rehearsals towards the show week. We will be able to release more detailed information in term 2. We look forward to the Y78 girls stunning the rest of the school with their skills and enthusiasm!
