CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH LEVEL 3
Description
This is a Level 3 English course that offers students the chance to study English literature and language within a contemporary context. Students will be offered a range of written and visual literary texts as well as skills based writing skills and an oral/ dramatic presentation. The close reading of unfamiliar texts with an emphasis on techniques relating to reader/ writer purpose will also be developed. Independent research will be carried out on a literature topic and the findings presented in written form.
Some multi-levelling may be offered to students still requiring university entrance literacy.
