The Church’s Story – Reformation and Beyond (c.1500 – c. 1750) explores the reasons why there are differences among the Christian Churches today, as a result of the Reformation.  There is a particular emphasis on European society emerging from the Middle Ages, Martin Luther, Henry VIII and the Council of Trent.

Understanding the Gospel Story helps students to appreciate the importance of story, before providing an introduction about how various books of the New Testament came to be written.  There is a particular emphasis on major features of the four gospel accounts which share the same faith perspective about Jesus, but were written for different audiences.
