Sport in Year 7/8


  

In year 7/8 our girls participate in both season codes and one off Eastern and Auckland zone events.  The girls are often entered into seasonal tournaments for their codes throughout the year.  Also during the year a number of sport exchanges with other North Island schools are held on a home and away basis. 

The main codes for Year 7/8 for season sports are Netball, Football, Tennis, Cricket, Badminton, Water Polo, Hockey, Basketball, Cycling, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Touch Rugby. 
 
     

Eastern Zone Events

The following outlines the Eastern Zone evens and terms during the year in which the girls participate in -

Term 1:    Softball, Tennis, Swimming

Term 2:    Orienteering, Soccer, Hockey, Table Tennis

Term 3:    Netball, Basketball, Gymnastics, Cross Country, Volleyball

Term 4:    Cricket, Touch and Athletics
