Teaching Positions

Choral Director

Baradene College Music is seeking an enthusiastic Choral Director to lead and inspire our vibrant and dedicated choirs.  This position is fixed-term for 2024  and part time - 13 hours per 10 day cycle  (term time only) starting at the beginning of Term 3 on 22 July.

About Us: At Baradene College, we pride ourselves on our rich tradition of musical excellence and a strong singing culture. Our students are committed and talented, and we are looking for a Choral Director who can nurture their abilities and take our choral program to new heights.

What We’re Looking For: We need a Choral Director with:

  • Knowledge of Vocal Technique: A deep understanding of vocal health and techniques to help students develop their voices.
  • Experience in Choral Directing: Proven experience in leading choirs, with a passion for music education.


  • Maintain and Enhance Our Singing Culture: Uphold our tradition of musical excellence and foster a love for singing among our students.
  • Develop and Innovate: Further develop the structure of our choral program, introducing new ideas and techniques to inspire and engage our choir.
  • Inspire and Motivate: Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best, both individually and as part of the choir.
