Teacher Training Opportunity 2025

An opportunity to train as a secondary teacher is available at Baradene College for 2025.  

Please refer to the website https://www.schoolbasedtraining.org/ for information about the programme that has been set up by Auckland Schools Teaching Coalition in conjunction with the University of Waikato.

In 2025 there will also be the possibility of onsite training at Baradene College alongside undertaking the theory component at the Teachers’ Institute. Please refer to the website https://www.teachersinstitute.org.nz/ Special criteria apply which will be discussed at the interview stage.

Support for the Special Character of the college is a condition of acceptance to the programme at Baradene College, as is a current satisfactory police vetting result.
