Baradene College strives to provide opportunities for students to understand, appreciate and respect the diversity of our school and the city we live in. The College enjoys strong relationships with our Maori and Pasifika parent support groups and our PTA is active in connecting all families within our Baradene network.
Culture is also celebrated in an explicit way. Both at our Fia Fia evening during Term 1 and by participating in the annual ASB Polyfest competition since 2001 with entries over this period for the Tongan, Samoan and Diversity stage. Throughout the last 14 years at our College the event has increased the opportunity for us to know and be educated about one another.
We are immensly proud of the dedication and wonderful performances our girls give every year at Polyfest.
