Please consider carefully before making your decision to join a sport. When you join a sport you are expected to be fully committed to that team, attending all meetings, practises and games. Students who do not follow these rules will be withdrawn from the team and their future participation with sport at Baradene will be compromised.
Likewise, if you withdraw from a team you will not be permitted to play sport, in any code, for Baradene that season.
A sports registration day is held at the start of the year where information and permission slips for most codes are obtained, signed and returned. Sports staff and senior students are there to assist with any questions.
SPORT FEES AND PAYMENT
Student participation in sport is accompanied by a sports fee. These fees go towards National / Regional sporting levies and affiliation, entry fees, coaching, umpiring, equipment / uniform (if applicable) and administration costs.
All sports fees are required to be paid in full prior to the code commencing, or before the one-off event/tournament commences. Please note: Non-payment of fee’s may impact on future team selection and sporting opportunities.
Payment is made through the Parent Portal and instructions will be given on the individual registration / permission letter for each code. Payment can be made by credit card, internet banking (with specific reference and particulars issued with invoice) and cheque through the main office. Cheques can be made out to Baradene College.
