When should I send in my daughter’s application for enrolment?

How far in advance do I need to apply?
Enrolments for Year 7 and limited places for Year 9 close in early March of each year for students looking to start in the following year.

Do you accept out-of-zone applications?
Our maximum roll is 1,400. While we do accept out-of-zone applications, our roll is cur­rently oversubscribed, and out-of-zone students are not guaranteed a place at Bara­dene. It will depend on how many out-of-zone applications we receive, and how many extra places are available after all the in-zone students have enrolled. Are there financial assistance or scholarships available?

Do you have boarding options?
We do not offer boarding options for domestic students. For international students, we offer homestay options with host families.

What pastoral care do you have to look after students’ wellbeing?
We have counsellors available and a staffed Health Centre with with a registered nurse. Our Deans and staff are also on hand to offer support and assistance.

How does the school communicate with parents and students?
We communicate with our parents in various ways, including email, the school app, weekly newsletters, social media, etc.  The school uses multiple means to communicate information to students, such as Microsoft TEAMS, daily notices, and email.
