The Alumnae Tennis Cup tournament commenced in 1996 between the three Australian Sacred Heart schools, and Baradene was invited to participate from 2001.
The main aims of this competition is not only to compete against our sister schools and play competitive tennis, but more importantly to continue to build relationships between students and staff involved.

In April 2025 it was Baradene's turn to host the event and was held at TotalCoach Tennis Centre in St Johns.

Kincoppal-Rose Bay (Sydney), Sacre Coeur (Melbourne) and Stuartholme (Brisbane) who made the trip to Auckland to enjoy our hospitality and all students and staff alike came away enjoying their experience on and off the court forming many friendships along the way.

All teams enter teams of five players and over the 2 day tournament they competed in both doubles and singles matches.

Baradene came away as winners of the tournament.  Congratulations to our team of Nia Montes Turner, Lauren Rowley, Joahn Sung, Saffron Tse and Alisha West.
We also make special mention to Saffron Tse (Y13) who was awarded the Barat Shield - this award is presented to the player who exemplifies the spirit of Cor Unum and is voted on by the players from all the schools participating in the tournament.

A huge thank you to Craig Bell for coaching the girls throughout the season and over the week – he does an amazing job and also thanks to our host families who offered to billet these students during their stay.
