Our Distance Running Squad train twice a week – Mondays at the Domain and Thursdays from Baradene.
The College Cross Country event is held at the College and surrounding streets at the start of Term 2. It is compulsory for Years 7-10 and optional for Years 11-13.
Based on their performance at the College Cross Country event, girls are selected to compete in various events across Auckland:
- Years 9-13 compete at Central Eastern Zones, followed by Auckland Championships and then can continue on to New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships.
- Year 7 & 8 students qualify for the Eastern Zones and then the Auckland Inter-Zones.

| Uniform: | Baradene PE top and shorts for competitions, appropriate active wear for trainings, running shoes and cap. |
