Hockey at Baradene is a popular sport with 11 teams competing ranging from Year 7 to 13. The Secondary School teams compete in the Auckland Secondary Schools Hockey competition and the Year 7 & 8 teams compete in the Auckland Year 7/8 competition

Year 7 & 8 – Saturday morning
All teams compete in Terms 2 and 3		  
Venue: Various  
Cost: 1st XI – $300 (plus additional tournament costs)
2nd XI & U15A – $250
Year 7 & 8 + other- $200		  
Uniform: 1st XI & 2nd XI – Baradene issued dress
All other grades – Baradene hockey top and skirt (purchased in Uniform Shop)
Mouthguard, shin pads and Baradene Hockey socks compulsory for all teams
