Baradene College of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic Girls School, situated in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand, teaching girls from Year 7 until Year 13. In 2009 there are 930 girls on the roll with 30 international students and a teaching staff of over 70.

The school was set up in 1909 by the Religious Society of the Sacred Heart. Baradene is a school rich in history and tradition. The Society of the Sacred Heart was founded by Mother Madeleine Sophie Barat 200 years ago.

The essence of a Sacred Heart education is a deep concern for each person's total development - spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and physical. Therefore, the College is committed to educate towards the five Sacred Heart goals. Each year the school community focuses on one of the goals.

In 2009, our Focus Goal is ‘A Deep Respect for Intellectual Values’.
