An extract from the Baradene Jubilee Magazine 1960. "It was on May 31, 1924, that our Old Girls' Association came into being officially. We say "officially", for of course, there had been annual reunions for several years before that... In 1924 the numbers warranted the establishment of a formal Association with rules and procedure. That memorable day was our real birthday."
