Baradene’s Makerspace is an amazing resource available to all students for their projects and assessments (whether science, technology or arts)  – a “space” to design, create, collaborate, experiment and problem solve. 

Baradene Giving Week 2022 | 1 - 8 July

Thank you to all who donated to our first Baradene Giving Week, which raised almost $90,000 for Makerspace equipment!

Between 1 and 8 July 2022, Growing Heart held the first Baradene Giving Week, an online campaign to raise funds for equipment for the new Makerspace, and we were absolutely thrilled with the result!

A huge thank you to our very generous Baradene community: The parents, alumnae, grandparents, past parents, friends, staff, and students who donated to the campaign. The success of the Giving Week is testament to what we can do to improve the educational opportunities for all students at Baradene when we come together and contribute as a community.

The funds raised enabled the Baradene Makerspace acquisition team to purchase most of the equipment needed, including virtual reality sets, a laser cutter, 3D printers, and computer, camera, and studio equipment.

Our students are now enjoying the state-of-the-art equipment in our own Makerspace!
