The Baradene Alumnae Association warmly invites alumnae Boarders and Friends to a special reunion on Sunday 3 May 2026 at Baradene College.
It has been over 40 years since boarding ended and we welcome all alumnae boarders from Baradene and Sacré Coeur Island Bay (Erskine College) as well as day girls from the boarding years to join us in celebrating this chapter in our history.
We would also like to extend this invitation to Cottesmore alumnae, although not a boarding school, Cottesmore students spent time at both Baradene and Island Bay due to the Helen's Trophy, an annual competition between the three Society of the Sacred Heart schools.
More than just a social occasion, this reunion will offer alumnae the chance to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the unique bond formed through shared years of living and learning together. Whether you boarded for one term, one year or many, or were a friend of a boarder, you are an important part of our Sacred Heart story, and we would be delighted to have you in attendance.
Order of Events
Venue: Baradene College, 237 Victoria Avenue, Remuera, Auckland
- From 12.00pm: Arrive to be seated in the Sophia Chapel
- 12.30 - 1.15pm: Mass with Monsignor Bernard Kiely
- 1.20pm: Welcome and formalities in the Atrium
- 1.30pm: Group photo
- From 1.35pm: Light refreshments, mix and mingle, and view archive displays
- From 2.30pm: School tours - led by current students
- 4.00pm: Event comes to a close
When you purchase your ticket, please indicate which activities you will be participating in for planning purposes. Please note that numbers are limited for Mass in the Sophia Chapel.
Organise your peers
We would love to have as many alumnae join us as possible and to see a range of decades represented as well. As we do not have contact details for all our alumnae, please spread the word to your alumnae friends who would be interested.
