We have super exciting news that Catherine Hall (Class of 2021) has been named in the 2024 Mystics team. This is an incredible achievement and one we are very proud of. 

Lucy Burrell

NZ U23 ROWING TEAM

Congratulations to Lucy Burrell (Class of 2020) who has been selected in the NZ U23 Rowing team competing at the U23 World Championships in Bulgaria in July. Lucy will be racing in the Coxed Four. 

We also mentioned in a previous news item that Lucy's Stanford University team was crowned NCAA 2023 Women's Rowing Champions National title holders!  

Marie Green

NZ U19 FOOTBALL TEAM

Congratulations to Marie Green (Class of 2022), who has been selected in the New Zealand U19 Football team to compete in the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship - the qualification competition for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2024 (21 June – 8 July in Fiji). Current Year 13 student Ruby Nathan has also been named in the team.

Penelope Salmon

NZ U20 WORLD ORIENTEERING TEAM

Penelope Salmon (Class of 2021), has been selected for the New Zealand U20 Junior World Orienteering team. The World Championships are being held in Romania at the beginning of July 2023.

Scarlett Goldsworthy

NZ U20 WATER POLO TEAM

Scarlett Goldsworthy named in the NZ U20 Water Polo team to compete at the World Champs in Portugal in September.

In addition to these recent announcements we have a number of alumnae representing New Zealand in their chosen sports:

• Fran Jonas (Class of 2021) and Molly Penfold (Class of 2019) are currently in Sri Lanka with the White Ferns.
• Jess Milicich (Class of 2013) and Gabby Milicich (Class of 2016) are currently in Long Beach California with the NZ Water Polo team, competing in the World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup.
