61 Baradene students competed in various sports recently in the Aims Games in Tauranga. Our girls were amazing all week, and we are so proud of the Teammates award they were awarded. This is presented to the top school, excelling in results, skills, sportsmanship, punctuality and presentation – and receiving this out of 275 schools is a fantastic achievement and testament to the girls behaviour and attitude towards their sport, as well as the incredible role-models the coaches and managers were. We thank all our coaches, managers and parent helpers who helped throughout the week, as well as the many parents and family members who came to Tauranga to support our girls. At times the weather was atrocious but everyone battled on in the wonderful cor unum style which is our school.
