It has been an amazing year for Baradene sport, topped off with acknowledgement of our athletes at the College Sport Auckland Young Sportsperson of the Year awards.
It was amazing to have 11 Baradene athletes named as finalists for their codes and from that the following were announced as winners of their categories for 2021. It is a huge honour to be the top of their code in all of Auckland and we congratulate each of you!

Then to follow on from this Frances, Penelope and Elyse were shortlisted for the Overall Young Sportswoman of the Year, so to have 3 of the 10 female finalists from Baradene is incredible.

We are now extremely proud to announce that Frances Jonas is the 2021 College Sport Auckland Overall Young Sportswoman of the Year. 
This is the first time in Bara history we have had the overall winner, since YSPOTY started in 1991.
