Our cyclists have had an extremely successful weekend at the North Island Secondary Schools’ Road and Track championships in Cambridge.
Baradene was represented strongly across all disciplines and grades, resulting in our College being awarded Top North Island Girls School in both the Road and Track – a fantastic achievement.
Our placings at the Road Championships are as follows:

Road Race
U20 – Jenna Merrick – 2nd
Team Time Trial
U16A – 2nd (Aimee Blackmore, Natayla Carter, Grace Cummins, Lara Hopkinson)
We also achieved 32 A Grade Top 10 placings throughout this 2 day event.

 Then 9 girls continued their racing at the Track Championships on Monday. A special congratulations to Jorja Clouth who won the Gold medal as the overall U15 Girls Track Champion for all North Island schools. Baradene went on to take the award for the Top Girls North Island Track School with over 20 top 5 places to complement the podium finishes as follows:
